Dr. Helen Gaudette is Director of the Queens College Office of Global Education Initiatives. In this capacity, she oversees, coordinates, and assesses Queens College’s study abroad and international exchange programs. Gaudette manages programs and relationships with international partner institutions and supports international initiatives on campus. She also works with faculty to develop new study abroad, internships, and service learning opportunities for students, and implements crisis management policies and practices. A full-time member of the Queens College Department of History, she has taught various faculty-led study abroad courses in France, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, and Spain. In 2007, she won the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is also the winner of the 2013 Fulbright US - Japan International Education Administrator Award and a current AIEA Neal Presidential Fellow. She served as co-leader of the previous Year of Turkey and Year of India Faculty and Staff Study Tours.
